- Building permits and erosion control requirements are availalbe through the Building Inspection Department.
- Building site and real estate data is available through the Mapping Department, including serial photographs.
- Business name registration is recommended, and the Macon County Register of Deeds will facilitate this.
- Business Taxes are paid annually, based on the value of business equipment, to the Macon County Tax Office.
- Restaurant information and inspection is available through the Macon County Health Department
